A snorkel guide and fish identification book has been specially developed for Gnaraloo by onsite researcher, Denise Jenkins. The guide will contain snorkelling maps, species identification plates and tips on where to observe specific marine life.

Denise spent 6 months studying and cataloguing marine life within 3 Mile Lagoon and Gnaraloo Bay. 'I hope to show people just how amazing the fish and marine life are, right here on our doorstep. The guide will show them exactly what it is they are looking at’ she said

Karen Hattingh, Gnaraloo’s Environmental Advisor: ‘The guide should assist visitors to better understand the underwater environments at Gnaraloo. With specific information and advice on how to care for the reef, it will help protect and preserve the pristine marine environment at Gnaraloo for generations to come’.
The guide will be available for sale onsite at Gnaraloo from January 2010.
